IEW Writing Method

About the IEW Writing Method

IEW (Institute for Excellence in Writing) is a structured writing program that teaches students to take writing with written tools, pull key words to make an outline, and use that outline to write paragraphs in their own words. It then builds on this foundation by introducing stylistic techniques that students practice until they become fluent. The goal is to give students a reliable, repeatable process for writing so they never feel frustrated staring at a blank page.
